Healthy roots = happy plants. Transplanting your plants from smaller pots to bigger pots allows roots to have enough space to expand and intake more nutrients resulting in stronger plants. Plants that have completely filled out the volume of the pot, running circles around the perimeter of the container become root bound. As they do not have enough room to breathe, this could slow down the growth, cause flimsy new growth, nutrient sensitivity and deficiency, and stunt flower production ultimately limiting the potential yield. Transplanting involves removing the plant with its root ball from one pot and transferring it to another bigger pot, allowing the roots to expand and your plant to flourish. Transplanting can be done from a smaller pot to a bigger pot or directly from a cloning machine.
