After your hard work of getting your cannabis crop through its vegetative and flowering stage, it is critical to execute the harvest process correctly and reap your rewards. In this stage, your plants are matured and at their peak of excellence. The most common way we harvest cannabis is to cut at the base stem or sections and hang them upside down in a ventilated area. We recommend removing the leaves first, as the plants get even airflow for drying, and with the bulkiest material out of the way, it will be much easier to trim. This could be most commonly done 10 days before cutting down or on the day of. Hanging the plant helps it retain the integrity of the flower’s shape and structure. Properly and evenly drying your flower will help also preserve its potency, vibrancy and color.
