Bucking, or also known as debuding, is the process in which the buds are removed from the stem for processing. This process can be done for both wet and dry plants. In most cases this requires a small snip with scissors to the small stem between the bud and the larger branch. Using scissors keeps the structure of the buds fully intact and preserves the quality of your bud as opposed to pulling and popping them off. Shucking is shunned.
